Microneedling can be carried out on the face and body to help address a range of different skin conditions, everything from fine lines and wrinkles to sun damage, stretchmarks, surgical scars, acne scars, fine lines, wrinkles and many more.

Although it is typically used to address these concerns, note that anyone can go for microneedling at any time and it’s a very effective way of maintaining young, supple and healthy skin.

Microneedling is typically considered to be safe for anyone over the age of 18, but it should be avoided by anyone with active infections on the face, anyone with open wounds and anyone with eczema, psoriasis and atrophic scarring (such as that from chickenpox).
Because the microneedling process is minimally invasive, there is relatively little downtime involved and you should be able to go about your daily activities as soon as the treatment is complete.
